2 in one day how lucky you are!!!!

So i forgot that i needed some other mothers take on something Jay and I always take a vacation just the two of us it is always much needed and greatly appreciated we usually do this around are anniversary which is DEC.29Th this year some other people had taken their vacation then and jay could not leave work they did agree to let him use his time later on so he did not lose the week of pay anyways after much planning to make sure that i did not miss anything the kids would be doing (wizard of oz musical,basketball,swim lessons(both kids) and soccer(both kids) oh yeah and school! we had picked a date everything was okay they were going to miss one week of swim soccer wasn't starting yet and basketball would have just ended so the only thing was the wizard of oz practice which she will more than likely miss while I'm gone it is hard enough to get someone to keep your kids much less run them to everything they need to go to. So it is set we have paid for everything and it its all a go last night i was letting the lady who's daughter i keep know that we would be gone and was looking at the calender and on the Thursday that i will be gone is Monica's second grade music program:( I'm so sad. but what do i do i checked every calender to make sure it fit (but the schools) i thought all the school programs where at the end of the year? anyway Monica said it was okay but this is the first EVER school program. don't get me wrong i love my daughter very much but the beach with just my husband whats a woman to do????

okay really can my house get anything else to make us sick really so after being woke up 3 times lastnight i decided that if i sent monica to school that they would probley just send her home im almost positive that she has pink eye so we are going to pay the doctor another 20$ and walgreens no telling what and who knows which one of us will have it next!!!!!!!

surgery?

as some of you may know Monica was born with HYPOPLASTIC THUMBS what this means is that some of the bone was missing or under developed when she was being formed. So after she was born she had two hand surgeries to correct the problem on her right hand she did have some bone but it was under developed so the doctor went in and took some of her tendons from her pinkie to make this thumb function it now functions great it is not as big as it should be but she uses it well the left hand had no bone so it was amputated and replaced with the index finger this process is called pollization. she has functioned well up until recently she had been complaining of some pain we assume all the writing in second grade has caused this so we have been going to physical therapy and saw the doctor last week he would like to operate on the left hand and do another tendon transfer this would allow her to move the thumb to the pinkie and allow more fine motor movement with the left hand. i know that the doctor would not want to do the surgery unless he felt it to beneficial to her she how ever does not want the surgery (typical of a 7 year old I'm sure) he would like to do the surgery this summer but if you know us very well you know that we do a lot of swimming in the summer and traveling she would be in a plaster type cast for 6 weeks to avoid injury to it we also thought about doing it over spring break but then she wouldn't be able to play soccer which she has done for the last 4 years. i want to do it as soon as possible just to get it out of the way. Jay seams to think we should wait and the doctor says that their is no hurry so i don't know what to do. it is a outpatient surgery so that's good i do think it should be done on a Friday or when their is a few days off of school if not in the summer so if their is some pain she wouldn't have to go to school if she didn't fill like it. at this point I'm not sure what we are going to do any suggestions? here is a link to a website that we visit that has a good photo of her hand it is from when she was 3 http://www.superhands.us/pages/monica.html

it hasnt started yet but i fill it coming on. oh well thats what happends it waits untill the day i will be busy to hit me... i already called the doctor jay has gone to get my med. so hopefully i will be better by tomorrow, I HOPE if i made anyone sick lastnight sorry we do have extra med. for kids and adults if any one needs any!!!!

hello i hope all is well with all of you. we all have been sick over here well not me which is shocking how does the caregiver not get the illness. i swear that i have washed all of the towels and blankets in this house atleast twice. oh well i hope none of you get it is bad and no fun....

Were to start

well i hope you all had a great christmas. i did not take any photos this year lots of video and i dont know how to post that yet i think that the girls had a good christmas this year. they got lots of webkinz which is all they asked for they love these things and thats okay with me because they are cheap anyway they also got bunk beds and new bedding i think i was more excited about this than they were. jay got a playstation 3 and i got a new blackberry not that i needed a blackberry i just liked them and they were free if we signed new contracts.... oh yeah monica has been playing basketball at the ymca. she really likes it i also have not taking any photos yet oh well maybe i will break out the camera and put up the camcorder hope your new year is off to a good start!!!!
